Basic Performance Upgrades. These modifications are: A full length three inch down-pipe (with or with-out high flow cats), 3″ (75mm) or bigger cat-back exhaust system, raised boost (18psi), and the required boost cut eliminator (GReddy BCC) needed to achieve that boost without activating the factory fuel cut-off at 14-15psi. These are the modifications that have proven to provide the best HP-to-$$$ ratio.
The general consensus is 17-18psi. Some people have taken it higher, but I don’t recommend it if you don’t have the money for a turbo replacement/upgrade.
Unfortunately, old age eventually comes regardless of what you do to hold it at bay. Auto parts fail and will need to be replaced. Below, I’ll give you a list of the components you can expect to replace down the road.
Does it smoke? With the engine running, take the oil fill cap off the valve cover. If smoke comes out, the rings or valves are shot and you need to leave now. It will be an expensive repair and perhaps a complete engine rebuild.
Oddly, a lot of people who routinely check the oil in their vehicles neglect to check the transmission fluid. Leaks can develop around the seals and gaskets. If fluid levels decline, you might experience shifting problems. Eventually, your transmission will – like your engine – suffer expensive damage.
The HHO engine blends hydroxy gas with your current fuel, diesel or gasoline. When the fuel is combusted it burns more efficiently utilizing more fuel. Your current system doesn’t even use all of its fuel, and the unused fuel is burned up in the scrap O2 sensor recycling. So you’ve paid for fuel that you don’t use and then pay to get rid of it… Looks like there is room for improvement. This is where HHO comes in.
Depending upon the type of hangers you have on your car, place the brand-new hangers onto the exhaust pieces first; this is normally a less complicated method to put the pieces back on.
Do not let these smells automatically discount your car from the list as it may just be that someone spilled something in the interior and getting your carpet professionally cleaned may fix the problem. But if you find these smells, definitely get yourself an independent vehicle inspection before buying.
