What Is A Blog? How Original Blogs Have Become The Internet Marketing Platform Of Today

I often field questions from entrepreneurs that are completely awestruck at the possibility that their product can adorn the pages of a glossy magazine. Or, I see the stars swirl around in their eyes that, maybe…just maybe….one day….they could share their sage wisdom with Meredith Viera and the Today Show audience.

As an example, if a blogger suggests you try a premier blogging system and also you click on the link to blog, that blogger most likely just produced an affiliate sale. They might have received a set dollar amount or even a percentage of the purchase.

Use original videos or pictures to make your content seem more interesting. Most online users prefer Look at my pictures with interesting pictures and videos. This is because pictures and videos can convey messages much more effectively. Some users don’t like to read article content, but instead they like simply looking at the photos or watching videos.

Many times you are able to only really know the motive of a blogger immediately after you get to know his or her character and nature. Just realize that most bloggers will not be out to scam readers, but their links might or might not be influenced by their capability to make money with that link.

The person who owns the other blog, unless they don’t know what they are doing either, is not going to approve your comment. And even if they do, what is the quality of that link? What is the value of the traffic it sends to your blog, if any?

One. How do blogs make money? Bloggers make money by recommending or reviewing products. If a blogger tells you about a product (which has a referral payment) and you use that link to purchase the item, the blogger gets paid.

The quickest and easiest way to set up a blog (and it is free!), is to go to http://www.blogger.com and follow the directions. They say it takes five minutes. I admit that it took me a bit longer and I am still playing with it, but it is easy! Be sure to check out the many templates and also have an idea (or several) for the name of your new blog. Most of the common ones are already taken.
